"Strong Schools. Bright Futures."
Serving the students and families of Edmond Public Schools
As your EPS District 1 Board Member, my decisions and actions are guided by three core priorities: supporting students, empowering educators, and strengthening community partnerships.
I am committed to student-centered decision-making, collaboration with families and educators, and the accountability and transparency our community expects from its school board.

Lee Ann's platform is focused on four key areas that directly impact Edmond students and families:
My commitment to Edmond families is simple: student-centered decision-making, collaboration with families, educators, and community members, and accountability, transparency, and strong governance.
EPS receives state funding tied to enrollment and is required to teach Oklahoma Academic Standards — though EPS consistently goes far beyond those minimums. Major capital investments are funded through voter-approved bond issues. EPS has a long tradition of fiscal responsibility, and recent bonds have been passed without raising homeowner tax rates.
EPS actively encourages family involvement. Parents can participate in PTO meetings, volunteer for programs like Lunch PALS and Teacher PALS, attend performances and sporting events, join booster clubs, and serve on advisory committees. For more ways to get involved, visit edmondschools.net.
EPS is committed to transparent financial practices. The district's most recent independent audit awarded a superior rating on the tracking of all funds, with no improprieties found. As your board member, Lee Ann will continue to prioritize spending that directly benefits students in the classroom.
Edmond Public Schools ranks in the top 2% of school districts nationally. All three Edmond high schools are consistently ranked among Oklahoma's top 10 per U.S. News & World Report. EPS graduation rates significantly exceed the state average, reflecting the district's commitment to every student's success.
EPS board members are elected, unpaid volunteers serving five-year terms. The board sets district policy, approves the budget, and makes major decisions affecting students, families, and staff. Board members are accountable directly to Edmond voters and families.
EPS maintains a strong partnership with the Edmond Police Department, with School Resource Officers assigned to each high school and middle school. The district is committed to continuously improving campus safety standards and student mental health support.
